This one-day course is to provide formal training in how to carry out internal audits of an ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System (EMS) and is based around the ISO auditing standard 19011. Who should Attend Individuals tasked with conducting audits of their organisation's EMS. Those thinking of attending this course should, ideally, have some knowledge of environmental management systems. If not, some background reading is advisable before attending the course. Course Programme The requirements of ISO 14001:2004, overview of environmental impact of business, audit planning, conducting the audit, audit reporting, typical non-conformances, closing out non-conformances, typical areas for improvement. Course Delivery Method Lecturing/Tutor input, group exercises, examples. Certificate of Training A certificate of training will be issued to delegates attending the course.
